Barrel o’ Laughs!
It’s a great line up and a a fun evening of laughs and it’s all for a good cause to give a retired soldier a life saving procedure not available on the NHS. Here’s the line up:
Headliner is Steve Day
Steve describes himself as Britain’s only deaf comedian, if there are any others he hasn’t heard.
He never fails to keep a crowd on their toes and will leave you with aching sides.
To get a flavour here’s a short clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=l57evUOE1e0
“Revelatory and very funny” – The Guardian
“The best comedy often comes from real-life observations, something that Day had down to a T” – Brighton Argus
“A hilarious, hard-of-hearing, heavenly host” – Time Out Comic’s Choice
She runs the acclaimed “Jan Jack’s Laughter House” and is a top act in her own right. So it’s going to be a great opportunity to see her perform and not just MC. A great clip of her here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSOwA20GBYg
Is one of the UKs top trainers and as a stand up comedian is guaranteed to bring the energy up in any room. Just listening to his voice is said to reduce stress levels by 1000%. Having spoken to him about his act he said something about doughnuts, dogging, and there might bucket involved. So heaven knows what will happen but laughs will surely ensue!
MC for the night Stuart Morrison
Stuart ran the Gag Factory in Guildford for a number of years and has toured as a top lookalike and comedian. After crashing his own car into his house, being kidnapped by Gypsies and accidentally getting tattooed anything can and probably will happen, but it’ll probably be very funny. Also LAMINATING! LIVE ON STAGE.
There’s also a silent auction of great items donated by local businesses and people.
